The room was so clean and everything was new. The service was so kind. You can park inside, and you can walk everywhere.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Worth paying a little extra for a room with a view of the lake. Room was comfortable and generously sized, breakfast was excellent and with nice views, and hotel staff were professional and courteous. Even though this hotel is described as "a family hotel", and is relatively small and not part of a chain, it seems to be professionally run and is located in a lovely quiet part of Stresa. The only minor downside was its location relative to the station, it can be a bit of a risky walk along a ‘main road’. I recommend if possible when exiting the station to take the stairs downwards and walk through the back streets to the hotel using the map on your phone. Alternatively, I believe the hotel can arrange for a taxi if you have a lot of bags.

Great location, great breakfast in a very authentic setting, and when it got too hot, the swimming pool was excellent. The towels service and bar at the pool are great! We stayed for a week with our 2 children (students), and were very pleased overall
